About
Acacia is a lifestyle hotel concept for FAS Hospitality in Saudi Arabia, built for people who come for the art, stay for the music and leave knowing the chef's name. We created the concept, the name and the brand identity, from a day-and-night icon and a custom typeface to colour-coded key cards, culture guides and event tickets.
A hotel where every stay becomes a story.

Every hour of your stay, drawn as one symbol.

A typeface with an inside voice and an outside voice.

No two stays look the same.

A hotel with its own soundtrack.

A canopy of culture.

Approach
We started by poking holes in the brief. Could an industrial look ever feel authentic in Saudi Arabia? Would sustainability be a real commitment or just a word on the website? Can a hotel be a community hub and still feel premium? There were simple answers to all of it, and that was exactly the problem, because simple answers are how you end up with another copycat hotel.
So we swapped the questions for better ones. What if the hotel backed Saudi artists, musicians and chefs? What if heritage and sustainable design came as a pair? The concept, the name and the audience grew from there, aimed at creative enthusiasts, progressive professionals and experience seekers. The identity was then stripped back until it was simple enough to run every day and flexible enough for hotels that haven't been designed yet.
