About
ILL takes a word that has always been thrown as an insult and wears it as a badge of honour. It's a self-initiated extreme sports concept, born and developed in Alberta, Canada, for the ones who jump first, and we created all of it: the name, the narrative, the identity and the tone of voice.
They called us ill. We kept the name.

Jump first. Never look down.

A mark that never looks down.

Prove nothing. Feel everything.

Approach
ILL was born and developed in Alberta, Canada, with the Rockies close enough to feel the pull. It's an extreme sports brand for skiers, surfers, climbers and flyers, the ones who've been called crazy and took it as a compliment. The rush is the reason, and ILL is built for the ones who chase it. Everything started with the name. Once we decided to take a word people use as an insult and wear it on purpose, the narrative, the identity and the tone of voice all followed from that single decision, written for athletes first and for anyone who recognises the same feeling in their own leap.
